parent university:

supporting healthy family foundations

learn ways to create a culture of growth mindset at home, navigate crisis brought on by covid-19, help your kiddos become inclusive & talk about race & diversity & more!

The global pandemic brought so many challenges to families, and we want to support parents to create healthy family foundations at home as we navigate the new normal of social distancing, and understand important life lessons rooted in the importance of diversity, inclusiveness and the eradication of systemic oppression and racism.

We've compiled resources for parents and a calendar of monthly meetups to help tool you with the skills necessary to navigate this season of uncertainty, confusion, fear, anger, and restore hope, clarity, and a pathway forward.

Other resources include our COVID-19 Coronavirus Resource Page on our website where you can find educational tips for remote learning, curriculum and content to keep your kiddos busy and entertained, as well updated COVID-19 information from the CDC and DPH, links to aid with financial assistance and meals, as well as health & wellness resources.

In between our monthly meetups, you can also:

  1. Watch our Growth Mindset Playlist on YouTube
  2. Practice DIY Activities at Home with your Family from our Instagram Feed
  3. Go for a stress-free family walk
  4. Visit our Parent University page to learn more about our year-round program

Closing the digital divide for seniors 55+

BabyBoomer Tech Program offers an accessible, enriching environment in which seniors share in a hands-on process of learning their devices, safe ways to access the internet, unique experiences with technology designed for seniors 55+, and an introduction to apps and telehealth opportunities.

We currently offer several types of programs, from single 60-minute workshops up to 8-week courses that are available on-site or virtually.

Participation in these programs are both provided for the general public in hosted public spaces, as well as offerings customized for  seniors who attend programs at our community partner's facilities.

Metamorphasis Powerhouse Company is an award-winning nonprofit serving families, youth and adults through project-based learning activities in everyday public spaces to close the gaps of education equity.

To help close the digital divide for seniors 55+ we work with local active adult communities, YMCAs, senior groups, community centers, nursing homes, libraries, churches, as well as parks and recreation centers, to provide daytime, evening and weekend programs.

Please have your Activities Director or Coordinator contact us using the button belowif you are interested in having BabyBoomer Tech at your facility.
