Georgia STEM Day is a day for schools, educators, students, and companies to engage in activities involving science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) as an initiative of the Technology Association of Georgia (TAG-ED).

By celebrating Georgia STEM Day weekend each year, Metamorphasis Powerhouse Company in partnership with TAG-ED, helps to raise awareness of the importance of STEM in our state by bringing together K-12 students, parents, educators, and STEM Club providers in a family fun festival powered by Microsoft.

Join us again for the 4th Annual Just Say YES STEM FEST at Microsoft Lenox Mall, Saturday May 2, 2020 for a popup STEM festival full of coding, STEM educational showcase, STEM mentors, and more!

STEM Career Path Resources

Career paths in STEM disciplines are increasingly entrepreneurial. STEM workers are less likely to experience joblessness than their non-STEM counterparts and entrepreneurs are always able to recognize an opportunity to create their own career path.

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, 65 percent of children starting school today will need skills for jobs that do not yet exist. In a world that is advancing faster than ever before, students must be equipped with an imperative and non-traditional skill set in order to adapt and be successful. Visit the below websites for more information:

As the future of work continues to evolve, EntreEd instills entrepreneurial mindsets in every student, every year to forge a more entrepreneurial America.

STEM Jobs provides teachers, counselors, and administrators in over 20,000 schools across the country with the tools and resources to quickly and easily implement a cutting edge STEM program that will engage and inspire students with key skills they need to aspire toward and pursue high growth STEM jobs.

The STEM Jobs “Do What You Love” message is not simply a tag line, it is the kind of culture-changing approach that schools, students, and parents need to address the challenging issues of under-representation, disinterest, and disconnect that underlie the national skills gap in critical technical jobs.
